Gatwick's Transit opens
In October, I posted a blog about the withdrawal for refurbishment of Gatwick Airport's inter-terminal shuttle - the tracked transit.
I'm delighted to read that it's now back in service from today, with trains, stations and guideway fully refurbished. I look forward to riding it.
One nice touch is that sensors detect the number of people waiting, and trigger the departure of a shuttle.
Vehicles have more seats, and live journey information.
The view, including the amazing bridge over taxiways carrying 747s, could hardly be improved!
